Pal is a co-worker of Marco's, a top
member of the division of the Astral
Guardians that strikes fear into the hearts
of the evil, and even causes the just to
bow their heads in respect: the Legal
Department. Due to his extraordinary
knowledge of the impossibly dense
Astral Legal Dode (Supposed to be
Code, but the typo was not caught before
the documents were approved. The
bureaucratic procedure for correcting the
error was so formidable that everyone
agreed it was easier to just leave it.) Pal
has managed to not only arrange it so that he is the highest paid Astral Guardian and consistent Employee of the Month, but he also never does any actual work. This leaves him with copious free time for his many bizarrely creative pursuits.
